I wasn't expecting so many attendees to show up on the first day
but managed to clear the aisles enough to get some good shots
in the dealers room.

Moore Monsters >

'Great "Predator" head at Knight Image Designs >

I didn't get this gal's name but admired her Universal Monster art >

Dan Araricio Art >

'Peter Murphy's masterworks. His Nosferatu wasn't quite finished yet >

The costume contest was still a day away but there were a few cosplayers
prowling around the main floor. This one was especially creepy, like something
out of the greenhouse in "Die Monster Die" >

Wow, this demon was tall and that flash-bounce off his outfit nearly ruined my shot >

I see "The Walking Monster" at most every 'Palooza. Could that young minion
in front be his press agent?

"Star Trek" meets "A L I E N" >

Thankfully, this guy didn't smell as bad as he looked >

'Creepy cool mask >

'A face we should all recognize >

I wanted these two for their Frankenstein plushie >

I love monster T-shirts and made it a point to get pics of a few favorites >

Director and DPS legend Bill Malone was there with his wife and their T-shirts >

Actor, artist, and Poe scholar Paul Clemens, appropriately attired >

Who at The UMA would disapprove of this T-shirt? 'No friend of mine, that's for sure >

In an antechamber next to the dealers room was Scary Closet's always atmospheric set-up >

Adjacent to it was a recreation of the kids' room from "Poltergeist".
One of the kids was nearby too and would pose with you for pics >

Casey Wong had his FJA tribute exhibit in the entrance hallway.
This year, it included Vampira and James Warren >

Did you take any pictures at Son of Monsterpalooza this weekend?
Well, slither right back in and post them. I'll keep an eye out!

Thanks so much Sir Masksalot for your photo shoot.

Jacko's back, inside the main exhibit room at this weekend's show >

The scariest thing I saw by far was this animatronic, shown with and without flash >

Elsewhere on the show floor was a full sized "Kharis" figure; reminded me of the old Aurora kit >

I may have more pics to post in the next day or two, now taking your requests.
Is there anything in particular you'd like me to photograph?

Vendor areas and contact information are always a plus for those of us who don't get to attend. So if you have the time, it might help those of us in the midwest and other far out regions. Thanks in advance and love the pictures!!!!!!

Was there much in the way of vintage pre-1970 toys, model kits or other collectibles?

???

Collecting! It's what I do!

Was that Mummy made by Tom Woodruff?  He made the Frankenstein one.

No, someone told me it's a Kelly DelCambre creation.

It wasn't easy clearing the aisles to get pics in the crowded dealers room
but here's what I could manage:

I think this one is called "earth_616_collectibles" >

ronMonster.com >

Atomic Art and Music .com >

TribalSkulls.com >

Polar Bears Pop Culture Shop, on facebook and Instagram only >

The Skull Shoppe >

... and now for the "two-page spreads":

SuperBad Action Figures >

AnimeLink/Kaiju.jitsu >

They had "Matango" heads there on the top shelf >

That should keep AntonPhibes busy for a while. Happy shopping!
