At least two more different styles emerged from DP's mad lab in the early 1980s >



I bought this version in March '81 but have still never seen it catalogued >



Illusive Concepts later released their own series of licensed Universal Monsters,
including a rather unkempt Mad Doctor >



By the time Great CoverUp offered their version in the 1990s, commercial maskmakers
seemed to be drifting further away from the Karloffian look. Moreover, the telltale cheek
wart on this one suggests that it's likely a converted "Abe Lincoln" mask >



'Could swear I caught a fleeting glimpse of one years ago
at Dr Shocker's former House of Horrors >
