Trading card collectors buy those as well. I hate cross-collectibles! More competition. 

I'm with you! The high prices due to competition from Trekkies is why I've ended up having to just say "No!" to the 1967 Leaf Star Trek cards, Ideal Star Trek board game and Hasbro Star Trek Marble Maze. And competition from Marvel zombies prices the Kenner Marvel Superheroes Sparkle Paint Set out of my range.
