Any Monster Kids who are actually Kids?

Hello! I'm a dad who was (is) a monster kid, who now has a monster kid.
But man-alive - we're having trouble finding other actual children for him to monster out with.

I helped him start an online monster club, we've put up flyers, and handed them out at a monster movie marathon last Halloween.
So far - we've gotten *one* other kid (occasionally two) and they hold a zoom meeting every two weeks to talk about and draw monsters together.

Are there any resources here or elsewhere online that anyone knows about that are more kid focused?
Or does anyone here know or have monster kids that might be interested in joining some kind of online (and parent monitored for safety) monster squad?

I'll post part of the flyer/poster we came up with below. If anyone has ideas, resources, or anything else - we'd be grateful!

I've been told that I carry on like a five-year-old. Do I qualify?

Welcome to the UMA, Noel!  :)

Sadly, I don't know any (actual) 8 year old classic monster fans. Start yours with the "A&C Meets" movies to get him used to the monsters in a fun atmosphere, then work your way up to the more gruesome stuff, like "The Black Cat" (1934) and "Murders in the Rue Morgue".  ;D

Thank you kindly! And we're already much further down the rabbit hole.
When he was 5, he dragged a bunch of his friends to see A+C meet Frankenstein.
Unfortunately, they all fled during the wax museum scene - the will he/won't he tension of Dracula coming out of the coffin was too much for them, and we ended up finishing the movie without them.

At this point, we've worked through most everything up through Hammer, branched out into Sci-fi (Tarantula is a favorite), and the poor kid is struggling because he can't find any peers who know what he's talking about.

Seriously - this is a kid who at 7 wanted this shirt just as much as he wanted a baby yoda shirt:

Quite advanced for an 8-year-old!  :)

I'm glad to hear that young kids are still enjoying the classic monster films we all know and love.  Maybe let him (with your guidance and oversight) make a profile on here and interact with other fans.  Another good forum site is https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/monsterkidclassichorrorforum/

He might also find some new friends while attending Monster Bash (https://www.monsterbashnews.com/bash.html).  There are plenty of kids that attend with their parents.
I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity...
