Available for pre-order!

Payment is required at the time of your order. If you add a pre-order to your regular order, your entire order will not ship until the pre-order is available for shipping. For this reason we recommend that pre-orders are made separately from regular orders to allow the regular order items to be shipped immediately (except for mailed payments by personal check which require a 10-day hold).

SYNOPSIS: Scary Monsters 122nd Never Say Die Issue explores the mad scientists of cinema who aimed to cheat death by discovering their own versions of the fountain of youth. We revisit Karloff's The Man They Could Not Hang, Lugosi's The Corpse Vanishes, Carradine's The Unearthly, Twilight Zone episodes on immortality, and others. Plus, we put Universal's House of Dracula under the microscope, take a look back at The Six Million Dollar Man Bigfoot Trilogy, and much more over 146 fantastic foto-filled pages.

Collectors Note: If you want your regular issue bagged and boarded (placed into an archival quality "bag" with white backer board), click on the drop-down menu above to select this extra service.

Canadian and UK Customers: In Canada, you may be able to pick up a copy at any nearby Chapters/Indigo bookstore once/if they open their doors! In the UK, copies are usually available at Hemlock Books and Forbidden Planet, or ask your local bookstore, newsstand, or comic shop to order through Diamond Comic Distributors.

No mention of "Dorian Gray".

Not sure if it's mentioned in this issue, but there is an article in Scary Monsters #34 on the 1945 movie A Picture of Dorian Gray.
Hope this helps.

Just wondering (aloud) why the cover, but no mention in the text, or SYNOPSIS.
