He was one of the original Mouseketeers on the "Mickey Mouse Club" and was in "The Space Children" in 1958.  But will always be remembered as Mark McCain on tv's "The Rifleman".

They were playing "Rifleman" on Sat. mornings, not long ago and I watched a lot of them. Good show!

Felt bad hearing this, but I knew he was battling Alzheimer's the last few years.  Loved THE RIFLEMAN.  Johnny really enjoyed music too and before he became ill, he had Big Band and I think toured a lot.  RIP to a talented guy.

Watched The Rifleman with my Dad back in the day. Great show with wonderful acting, RIP Johnny.
