I'd wait a while. They're just now being distributed and I think they're $20 or under.

I bought one of the b/w turtles on eBay. $37 (free shipping). Didn't figure they'd get much cheaper than that.

Quote from: Mike Scott on April 27, 2026, 11:33:32 PMI don't think anybody mentioned this, before. Apparently came out last year. Con exclusive, maybe. Nothing on the NECA website about it. Saw one on eBay. Package was a little rough. Nothing about them on the net. I guess it's B/W.

These are showing up at Ross locations and are $15

It's always some place where I don't have one near me.

The 4 pack of figures homaging Imperials 1986 figures are cancelled. Rumor Control: Unbeknownst to anyone, Imperial Toys is still in business. They took issue with NECA's use of their artwork, and head redesigns that mimic their releases of 40 years ago. They brought up a potential lawsuit. So NECA may still be in the Universal Monsters game, but I imagine they have just been given a wee lesson about what can and cannot be done. Good thing Remco is out of business.

When I heard the line was canceled, I knew it had to be because of Imperial. Imperial recently (okay, not so recently) just had a Universal Monsters line of Jigglers about 20 years back. They get in the game about once every 20 years or so. Maybe they'll make their own versions.

I have no idea how NECA didn't know they were still in business. They may not be a direct competitor, but they're at least in the same trade.
