Good news! I discoverd that a wire on the circuit board of the Monsterizer was not attached. I called a friend to see if he would look at it (he a wiz at fixing electronics). When you open the small drawer at the end of the Monsterizer you can see in and get to the wire. With a lot of effort and a few tries, and some very expensive silver conductive adheasive he has, he was able to reconnect the wire and the Monsterizer is working perfect now. I also did hear back from NECA here is what they said.         (Thank you for contacting us about this. I apologize for the issue you are having. Attached is a pre-paid return label. Please ship back the item you received with a typed copy of your email address and order number. Once your return is received and processed based on inventory a replacement will be issued. If inventory is not available a refund will be issued.) I E-mailed them back and told them to just cancel the return lable. I did not want to even deal with it.

Got my Monsterizer - no problems.

As I suspected, it came via FedEx/USPS.  The Tracking Number was issued in Illinois and I heard no more about it until it was accepted by the USPS in a small nearby California town a week later.  From there it was delivered overnight.

Got my Monsterizer today, one corner of the box is slightly smushed but that doesn't matter much to me.  They sort of hide it with the box design looking vintage and weathered.  I don't have room for it yet so it will be kept boxed up in storage.

Mine arrived today  in the UK and thankfully the box was in perfect shape. Luckily there were no dents to the shipping box as there was pretty much no room inside it if it had been dented (not sure why they would pack this so tightly?!).

Anyway, all good and I haven't tried it out yet but I'm guessing these don't come with instructions as there wasn't anything inside my box?

Indeed there are no instructions. I'm gonna wait for a youtube review before I try to undue the straps. Works great, I love it.

Do check, I just put batteries in mine and one the green insulators is not lighting up or flashing. Just sent an E-mail to NECA with photos attached asking how I should proceed. Did not ask if I could return or exchange it. I'm going to put the ball in their court and see what they say. Will keep everyone updated.

Same insulator light does not work on mine.

Yikes. Two of them with a light issue? Not good. Too much salt water absorption from sailing the high seas for months perhaps?

Mine arrived in fine condition as well thankfully. One thing I noticed is that when I have it lit up you are able to see all of the internal wiring through one of the holes on the back side of the Monsterizer. Is this the same for others?

I assume so, but it seems like it would make since for there to be a plastic covering there although the holes are molded into the plastic. I'm trying to find a picture online to illustrate my point, but haven't been able to.

The light not working on mine is on the identical post as the other user and I'm certain they never hooked that wire up to begin with (it doesn't appear to have broken off, and based on the construction of the item it will be very difficult to repair). I would place a large bet that this is a quality control issue that is found on a significant percentage of these. And it really irritates me.

Sounds more probable than my light hearted comment. I was attempting a jab at how long its taken for them to get on our shores and unpacked. It probably is just as you suspect. Just out of curiosity (since I didn't buy one)...does it have bulbs? Also...does it make any noise?
