Well, I read somewhere how the Strange family has stepped it to try to license Glenn's likeness, so they could release a figure of him, but they have to pay the family some money for it.  All depends on how much they are asking, how much goes to universal, versus how much they think they'd sell of that figure.

Yeah.  I don't know if the TOT mask was licensed through the Strange family or not.  Any ideas on that?  That was tagged House of Frankenstein, I believe, rather than A&CMF.

MonsterBaker666

Not sure but I read about the Strange family fairly recently, so it's possible things like the mask got them to thinking,  "There's a market out there for us to get some of that money."

Doh!

My Strange mask is indeed tagged House of Frankenstein. I'd get his figure in this line if they offered it (in B&W). And the back of the tag does state "Glenn Strange as the Monster" -- but no copyright.

That might suggest that TOTS did license it with the Strange family.  And they likely couldn't list it as A&C Meet because the A&C families might want a piece of the pie for listing their names.  Safer to just list House Of Frankenstein.

Or we could all be overthinking this, and forgetting the fact that House of Frankenstein was Glenn Strange's first outing as the monster.

Could be, but, ever since Sideshow, we have only gotten HOUSE Strange.  I believe that's because Universal didn't officially include A&C in the Universal Monster canon for licensed lines.  I am wondering if that has changed since they have included A&C in the Legacy collections now.

NECA just sent out an e-mail that ne next Target Haul-a-thon starts hitting February 26th, with stuff going online March 3rd.  No pics yet.  Keep an eye out, kids!

We know anything that's coming out? Or all surprise stuff

Count Zachula

Seems like a lot of TMNT, some Gremlins and other stuff.
Only UM thing popping up is the Frankenstein accessory set.

Hello Kitty, Gremlins, Alf, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sonic the Hedgehog and the WISH version of The Munsters (a.k.a., Rob Zombie's Munsters) are the properties they've mentioned.

John Pertwee

It is the regular Zombo figure, and the Frankenstein Accessory set for $32.99. Cheapest one I have seen.

The Zombo figure looks really neat-o. Unfortunately,  the slip was not included with my figure.
"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Lazarus

I saw the Rob Zombie Herman Munster Ultimate yesterday.  The packaging is pretty similar to the UMxTMNT stuff with a lovely painted box front.  It looks just like him.  I did not enjoy that movie, but the figure is quite good.

We might see the Casey Jones Phantom of the Opera for one of the later drops, apparently.  That might be the only UM presence for the event, sadly.

I am chomping at the bit for their Bride and Phantom that have been revealed. Not to mention Creature...and more accessory sets, and...well, anything and everything they do while they have the license.

Count Zachula

With Nosferatu, London After Midnight and now Toony Terrors Vampira, I'm hoping NECA does some more non Universal classic monsters and characters.
