Someone was poking fun of the armadillo on a toy forum. I guess they don't realize they carry bubonic plague. Other than looking exotic to Todd Browning, their plague carrying attribute is a I can think of to draw them to the King of the Undead.

Doh!

I don't plan on getting these accessory sets, but I wonder if they're getting B&W releases as well?

I would think not. It's a tough enough sell for NECA to put these versions out - B&W would just be asking to lose money. Accessory sets are never huge sellers.

Wish they'd have shown the interior of the coffin.  Something tells me it's pretty simple.

Look in the promotional images for Dracula: https://www.bigbadtoystore.com/Product/VariationDetails/213157

Looks pretty simply. Odd they'd show it for the Dracula figure, but not for the coffin itself.

Break out the ol' model kit paints and paint the sets to be B/W.

Went by Spirit Halloween and a couple Target stores last night. Both Targets had quite a few Universal Monsters Neca items, and I almost picked up the retro GITD Mummy figure, but the card was somewhat damaged. Looked really cool in person, so I'll have to get those at some point.

Curious if anyone has heard if the cape for the NECA Dracula figure will have the light grey lining? The prototype does not have a lining. Maybe I missed a post discussing this, or missed updated photos? How can this be called an ultimate figure if they get this wrong? 😕

This is the Transylvanian figure.  You want a gray lining, you've got to wait until London.

Im hanging my head down in shame. I should have known this. Bust me down a notch in rank here at the army.

I'd LOVE to see an Abbott & Costello set of figures - Frankenstein's monster, The Wolf Man, Dracula, and the boys!

Earth 2 Chris

Abbott and Costello as Chick and Wilbur would be fantastic. Make a three pack with the Glenn Strange monster, and I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Dr.Terror

Problem I have with the all black cape.....it's more of a large cloak.    The iconic lined cape is much  bigger.    Yet Neca made it the same size. .He wears the medallion in both TRV and London so this seems like a lame attempt by Neca to get folks to buy another "variant"  figure.
   Its what they do.😕

Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

Well, as The Wolf Man showed us, the photos of the prototype had a mustache, and the final product did not.

So it's possible that when the figure is released, the cape will be all black and shorter than the grey lined London cape.
