Bride and 1935 version of Frankenstein Monster are probably on the horizon with the "chain chair" set for the Monster.

I just want the deets on that Dracula Accessory pack... Well, that and the 'Bride of Frankenstein' chair. I didn't dare dream of a new Monster release just for the 'Bride', so don't y'all start getting my hopes up. That would be incredible.

(Man, when they get to Hammer, I'm really gonna be a goner.  ;D)

MonsterBaker666

Sideshow came out with a 9 inch Son of Frankenstein figure, but never a Karloff Bride figure.  Since NECA has already released a Karloff Frankenstein, no reason they couldn't release a Bride and Son versions as well.

MrDark1

What good is a Bride without her Goon, er uh Groom!

I suspect Neca will get as much use as they can out of already sculpted Frankenstein Monster parts, fellas. They're in it to make some bank, and not just love of the product.

Reusing existing parts under a variety of paint or variation is in the playbook.

We will see armies of Frankensteins as long as the perform well.

Bring on the Glenn Strange, Bela Lugosi, and Lon Chaney variants as well as all Karloffs.

I will Pokemon the everlovin' crap outta them, lol.

Maybe if they make a Lugosi Frankenstein they'll include replacement heads of Eddie Parker.  Or was it Gil Perkins??  ;)

John Pertwee

How cool would a release be that included all three heads?

MonsterBaker666

They really should release the stunt men heads.  They're on screen as long as lugosi was.  Heck. The first image on screen, a big close up, isn't lugosi.

They'll definitely make a Bride version of Frank if these keep performing.  It's just a few new parts, and they can do the greyscale version to spread out the costs.  It's a no brainer.  The chair all but guarantees it.  They'll do a 2 pack with him and the bride too, I'd bet.

I wondered about that. If we get a new Frank and 2 colorways of the Bride, that's 3 movie posters needed for the boxes. One more if they do an additional grayscale Frankie. They might have trouble coming up with enough art! (And although I love the Bride, I really wish NECA would give us a Colin Clive. I don't see it happening, but I really wish it would.)

I would love to see an Ernest Thesiger as Dr. Septimus Pretorius.  He is on screen a lot longer than the Bride - and is a much more interesting character.

I would definitely buy supposting characters.  Kay from Black Lagoon, Henry Frankenstein, Renfield, Van Helsing, the Brides, Fritz.  All purchases.

Man, would love to see them make all the Frankenstein monsters!

The Strange monster would be so Cool to collect, the other monsters most unlikely with licensing problems, but sure would love to see all those made too.  The Lugosi monster should have a wide open mouthed head too.

Hard to include too many heads on the Chaney Jr monster, his monster hardly changed expression throughout the entire film.  Could not have an all white/sulphuric head, as you would need the whole body like it to match.  Two full figures to sell, but what extras come with these, as the heads are stoic.

A Strange Monster is my biggest want for the Frankenstein portion of the line, really. And it occurred to me last night that - regarding the Bride of Frankenstein Accessory set that was teased - NECA may just include an alternate Monster head with it instead of an entirely new SKU with rehashed parts. I'd find that a bit disappointing, but then I'm not sure this line is going to have the legs that most of us Monster Fans wish it would.  :-\ I can see the need to hedge bets.

Now moving towards an obscure figure that could possibly sell really well - Chaney in London After Midnight? The mystique of it being a 'Lost Film' could really help pique people's interests and it really doesn't have much in the way of precedents, figure-wise... Fingers crossed!

They have the Lugosi and Chaney Jr. likenesses.  If anything I'd say the Strange version is the least likely to happen, unfortunately.  Though I'd definitely buy him.  Maybe with an accessory set including the crate from Abbot and Costello!
