It is lovely now. I was disappointed before, and yes....a little brush and smidge of blending can be done by all of us. At last, a NECA Wolfman !!!!

Where will he be available when he comes out? Hope this not another Walmart exclusive.

Why are Chaney's/Talbot's legs so stubby in this design?

NECA said the estimated release date of The Wolf Man is December 2021.  I don't think it's an exclusive of any store.  But I've found that recently NECA is about 1-2 months behind on their estimated release dates.

And I am VERY glad he doesn't have that moustache, and they appear to have a better paint job than on the initial prototype, but I still thank that dark nose tip is wrong.  in looking at B&W photos from the film the entire nose looks the same color as the rest of the face.  In the last film (House Of Dracula) the nose tip is darker (almost black).  There are color photos from that film and you can see it's a different color in them, but to my eye it all looks the came color in the first film.

Now I think the only thing I will do to mine is make the "eyebrows" blend into the rest of his facial hair growth. Like this:

They are still using a Styleguide interpretation from the '90's - as seen on this Nabisco promotional sweatshirt:

Seems like a mistake to me.  This 1997 Styleguide close-up looks more like the eyebrows were meant to be blended into the hairline:

Neca's released images of their next product tonight. A new Universal Monsters/Ninja Turtles mash-up.

I GUESS that counts as a Universal reveal...

Both images are from the same style guide era.  One is just, very clearly, the Chaney Wolf Man while the other was probably the generic option.  I have ZERO idea what is going on on that shirt, since it includes Strange, Chaney in lifelike digital, Drac and Creech in hand-illustrated, and the generic Wolf Man.  And while I don't understand what was going on with the people who made the shirt, I LOVE it.  It was truly the greatest style guide era for the UMs, and it only last two years.

Neca just teased a "Happy BELAted birthday" on Instagram with the new figure, showing his left hand and Dracula crest ring!!

FINALLY!!!  So far their Halloween announcements have been very bland.

It's doesn't look as bad now.  Looks like they darkened that skin a bit.
