They look so fun!
I have to pass because of budget and space. Hopefully one day I can get em!

The comparison photos are cool too!

All save the Wolf Man, but the one they're using is perfectly fine IMO, and I too love that they're doing this. Who know's maybe the second version of the boxed Playco vinyl figures are next. ;D

Doh!

Not getting these, but owned the original Frank and Dracula back in the day. Lord knows what happened to them...

I wouldn't mind have what I think is a much better Frank sculpt.

But, I'm not gonna spring for a whole set of these things.

Some folks are reporting their Masque of the Red Death Phantom NECA figure pre-orders are updating to "shipped". Yeah! Just in time for spooky season.

I was so hoping they'd be sold individually. The only one I want is Klaris.

They don't come out till next year. Maybe some stores will be selling them individually, by then.

Seems you're forgetting the NECA web-store exclusive element of this series. While some single figures will assuredly end up on eBay etc, since there's no wholesale the aftermarket price will likely be a bit high. Wiser to buy the set and sell what you don't want. You might even end up making money and having the figure you desire.

Since there's no Creature, I'm totally off the hook, for once!  :)

I dont understand why they mimicked the No Neck look of the Imp Drac but didnt give Frank his signature long arms.     Franks long arms are more a signature feature than Drac having no neck.
Morning, noon, or night, Anytime . . . . the count may strike. If you're caught you have to linger, Cause Dracula may bite your finger!

I think they creatively gave Frankie the long arms while keeping it a good figure-- I think if they'd gone with the insane arms everyone would have whined about it.

Got a little tiny nugget of info from the Chaneys at Midsummer Scream...also a story about how unlucky I am...

I had a table selling my art and stickers and a few booths down was the Chaney Ent. booth, so I would walk past them each morning.  I spotted on their shelf all of the current NECA figures PLUS to my surprise the NEW Red Death Phantom figure! AND...AND...for RETAIL PRICE! I was flabbergasted.  But I kept some control, I was at this show to make money and wasn't about to start spending before the weekend was over.  So I told myself if I made a certain amount I would grab one.  Friday and Saturday goes by, not one sold.  By Saturday night I had already broken even and made a profit.  I had planned to grab one Sunday morning.  Sunday morning comes around and they're ALL GONE!  Talked to Ron Chaney and his son, they said they sold all of them Saturday night. Damn! I missed my chance.  Ron said he had just got them in and wanted to "give them to the people for a fair price" which I respect.  I ended up talking to his son a bit more saying how much I loved the NECA figures and without spoiling anything if they would continue to make more Chaney figures with them.  His son said that Ron loves working with NECA and has been super happy with everything they put out and that they definitely will be working together again.

So there you have it. More NECA Chaney stuff may be on the way!

Doh!

Ron Chaney should talk to Roy Scheider's family so we finally get licensed Chief Brody figures!!

For anyone who missed out on the Bride version of the Monster that was packed with the chair or is simply into the variants, at some point today - Monday 25 August - NECA is offering a 90th Anniversary Monster and Mate two pack, exclusive to their store (meaning there's sadly no wholesale) and "limited" to 2000 pieces.

I think I am done buying directly from NECA.  :'(
