I prefer this Frankenstein figure to anything else offered in this scale to this point, and haven't even got mine yet,lol.  This video review showcases the figure nicely. it looks like Karloff, and its really nice. Your mileage may vary. Very excited for this line.

That looks great! But I'm too old to be driving around town, trying to find a color one. I'm sticking with the B&W version I have on order from BBTS. Alleged delivery this month.

I have the Sideshows in color from back in the day, so I don't mind having this set in B&W.

Walked into wal mart to get a pack of coke and dg treats. one lone Neca Frankie sitting pretty. Hanging hook has a bend in it (pretty common with Neca), but otherwise sound. Nabbed it.

I love  Sidehsow's era of Universal Monsters. Best revival since the hey day of ole.

I was loathe to think anyone would ever top Sideshow's 1/6 Creature. Then Mondo did it.

I was loathe to even consider that anyone could topple Sideshow's 7 inch scale series. DST did it only with Creature and Phantom (in my opinion). They dropped the ball on some. What makes them a notable and worthwhile collection are these and their gorgeous Mr. Hyde. Yet Sideshow still held the crown.

I am going to go on record with this; This Frankenstein is the best figure in this scale. The resting monster face isn't as solid as the expression filled faces. Yet this figure is by far my favorite in this scale. This line has the potential to be the new measuring stick for Universal Monsters if their debut figure is any indication. If they deliver a Wolfman of this calibre, I will finally have my "ultimate" Wolfman indeed. Looking forward to giving this line most of my collecting dollars for 2021-2022 and beyond. Maybe they will do retro cloth too. Talons crossed.

There were 5 minty fresh at a Walmart I went into today. Nice figure. For some reason I expected it to be more greenish rather than brown but I don’t mind the color at all. I do question why I need another figure in this size in addition to the Sideshow and DST but apparently I do because I bought it.

They were in the DVD/electronics area fairly close to but not in the “collectible” aisle where the rest of the NECA items are located. Same Walmart also had a large stock of MEGO’s so I came away with a Hammer Dracula and Mask of the Red Death as well.

Day 6 of going to Walmart every day...I'm beginning to lose feeling in my toes...or was it my fingers...I can't tell because I can't feel either, things are getting hazy, but I must keep a clear head...the sound of crying children is burnt into my brain, just trying to ignore it by now. Losing my sanity will be worth it if I find that Frankenstein...

BTW If anyone also lives in the LA area and finds one please let me know where!

Living in LA means you guys got them first. Which means scalpers bought them all up and threw them on ebay. My brother lives in Kentucky. Yesterday they had 7 at his store. Not sure if they have any left today. These will eventually be offered at other outlets. Wal Mart is only EX til the end of July from what I gather.

I went out this evening again seaching for the Neca Frankenstein. The first walmart had none. I did ask an employee at this store if he could assist me in finding out if they were going to get them, or had they ever had them. I had with me on my phone the Walmart Item number, he was very nice and helpful.  looked it up and he said that they had five and had just got them in, but they had not put them out yet. He even went so far as to try and find them in the back but to no avail. So I thanked him, and thought maybe some employee had put them out in the action figure aisle instead. It was not to be found. But as I browsed that Aisle I excused my self to go around a youngman who also was browsing. As we browsed, he asked me what I was looking for, I told him the new Neca Frankenstein figure. With out even hesitating he whipped out his phone and lo and behold had a photo of the very figure on his phone, he had just taken at a Walmart 110 blocks away from where we were. He said he collected Neca figures. Talk about coincidences!!!!! So why he was at this Walmart after having been at the other I never thought to ask. But to wrap up this long- winded story, I rushed to said store and sure enough they had six of them!!!!! What a weird but fun outing. For reference the Walmart Item number is  595286167 and UPC number 634482048047.
