But she's a monster!  She has to sell!

Honestly, we just need multipacks to make a lot of this stuff work.  If we're getting a Professor Burke figure, there's no reason we couldn't get any of these far more well known characters.

Wolf Man and Maleva Multipack
Dracula and Renfield Multipack
Henry and Pretorius Multipack with Bandaged Bride

The Renfield movie coming out should help make the case for a Renfield figure regardless of anything else.

Make it

Frankenstein and Henry
Bride and Pretorious

That way there is a monster in every pack.

Works for me!

Tho perhaps it should be Henry Frankenstein and the bride, and Dr. Pretorius and the monster.

I haven't been on the Neca figures because I don't feel the need to have everything, but I ended up with the retro Glow in the Dark Remco style ones and man they hit the right buttons for me.   Really nice job and so sturdy and well made.

Another interesting fact, Boris Karloff referred to the Frankenstein Monster as "the creature" in a documentary I watched over the holiday.  He called him that several times.

He was also called "The Creature" in the credits of Curse of Frankenstein.

I'm still waiting for BBTS to ship The Invisible Man.  My guess, based on past history, tells me he'll be shipped between mid and end of the month, with Dracula following mid to late February.

AndyFish

I had this pre-ordered and I cancelled it because I actually like the Jada one better.

I'm wondering if the NECA Phantom Of The Opera figure is limited.  My reason for wondering is that over at BBTS the figure doesn't say "Preorder" like the Dracula and Invisible Man figures...the Phantom figure says "Preorder Sold Out".

Anton Phibes

I think its a safe bet that he will be just as available as every other Uni has been. Which isn't to say they'll be like locusts covering the earth or anything: but that the folks who want one will be able to nab one.

Dark Knight 1985

Amok Time sold out of Invisible Man for In stock orders last month but more are back up for pre order again to ship this month. The Neca Lugosi Dracula should be out soon according to Amok
Time they said any day this upcoming week and will ship pre orders asap.

Dark Knight 1985

I do have a Question about the Neca Dracula.  I know the figure just has the black cape , I thought  his cape was black/gray inside? Is this because maybe Lugosi  had two versions in the movie ? Sideshow was close to Accurate and both 8" and 12" pieces had the black/gray cape. Just wanted to know if Lugosi estate & Universal  did in fact discover another all Black cape that he wore during filming?

MonsterBaker666

I think the screen used cape had a grey lining, and thus for awhile Bela Lugosi Jr. licensed his fathers image as Dracula with a red cape, saying it was the "Broadway" Dracula.  But I think the Lugosi family is now working with Universal to have products with his fathers image, thus the NECA Dracula figure having a grey interior on the cape as Lugosi wore in the film.
