Monsters For Sale

I watched snippets of all of these trailers.

I did not see a single movie that I would spend the price of a ticket on.  I did not see a single movie that I would be willing to buy from a remainders bin in a 99ยข Only Store.  I did not see a single movie that I would watch for free on YouTube.

I did not see a single movie that I would watch if I were being paid a $15.00 an hour minimum wage to do so.

IDK man, I'm down for a few of these. Sign me up for Morbius, Justice League Snyder cut, Batman, Suicide Squad, and Halloween Kills.

I don't feel like I belong in this world anymore.

I hate movies that are all computer generated cartoons based on comic book characters or violence just trying to outdo last year's violence.

I never cared for Marvel.  I don't think I ever could.

I don't communicate in abbreviations and will never use an emoji to explain what I mean by my words.  People either understand me or they don't.  I seldom correct wrong impressions.  I will sometimes use a line that Red Skelton used when he would deliver a line and no one laughed:  "I just do 'em; I don't explain 'em."

I use a computer to write letters because no one uses envelopes and stamps anymore - and because I have terrible handwriting.  I've never played video games.  They never interested me.

I feel like time has passed me by.  You can think it's just that I have stood still.

This isn't my world - hasn't been for many years, now.

With me sounding like an Old Fogey. I am in agreement. Most of the Marvel movies are garbage.  Very few Hollywood films are good, most are sh**. Nevertheless the average Movie- goer has no clue . But as long as Hollywood keeps pumping out sh** films, the sheep will keep watching.

I'm fairly adept at using this computer thingy in certain ways but I know nothing about playing video games on it or on a TV set. I could however be tempted by certain video games in an arcade, e.g. Crazy Taxi, Hydro Thunder, Centipede. My first choice though would be the pinball games.

I like parts of the new, e.g. the internet. What saddens me is the disappearance of old stuff I really like, e.g. downtown main street shopping areas, newsstands, paper boys/girls delivering newspapers from their bicycles or wagons, neighbourhood diners with proper counter seating, drive-ins, neighbourhood theatres, radio serials, etc. I still listen to many games on the radio.
