Kind of reminds me of the piece I have that my son took pictures of a few years back when I posted the pics of my creature head plaster or chalk like material pin.

I don't remember that. Do you still have the photo?

Hi Mike.  My son doesn't have the picture anymore, he posted it here on UMA along with a few other items I own such as the candy cigarette bag from 1963 and I think some monster gumball charms and maybe other things.

I'll look through your posts in Vintage Toys and see if I can find it.

Here they are:

Ok guys.  I know a few of you offered to help me load some pictures, and I really appreciate it, but I left my son do it for me, a little less "painful" that way, for me. I openly admit, I'm NOT good with these things on the computer, but, you already knew that.  I hope that these are ok for you, this is the "original"1963 bag that these came in. I also took photos of my Mummy box, it's not in the best shape, but as mentioned, really scarce, I only have one or two others of the other monsters buried somewhere in a box. If I had duplicates, I'd trade, but unfortunately I don't, least right now anyway.

Hey guys, while we're talking monster candy, here's another piece that I think you'll like, wax filled syrup monsters still on the card.  Anther rare item to find, mid-sixties vintage.

You need to do something about Photobucket obscuring your photos though.

 :)

Actually I've already done more than my part but here they are:

Here are some pictures of this Creature pin. I believe the dealer said it was a chalk ware piece. It's about 1.25 in. tall. There is some detail on the face, sort of remember seeing things like this of maybe different characters way back, but if anyone can help with knowing exactly when it was from. As mentioned by looking at it, with the way it's painted, looks like a 60's piece.

Thanks for the pics!

With that safety pin molded in there, it looks kinda home made?

Hi Mike.  I know it's questionable, like I mentioned, it was bought at an Atlantic City antique show from a woman who dealt with jewelry, who purchased it from a New Jersey home sale, she told me it was in the lot of jewelry she bought there along with other smaller items, some of which came from boardwalk gift shops from long ago. The paint on this is surely 60's style.  I was at this particular show early, and actually got to see it as she was still setting up that particular case she had.  In the corner on one of her tables, she had the other items bought from that sale, which included many small items from the gift shop that included a lot of glass, porcelain, and chalk items.

Hopefully you would indeed have been capable of finding these shots yourself without anybody's help.

Actually it was easy.

 ;)

I'm still wondering though whether you've ever used the SEARCH function yourself because I've still never noticed you using any of the assorted additional features of this board.

Hep,  never knew it would be an issue or problem with my simple way of just reading and responding to posts on this board.

But can you not see that it is a problem when you're unable to quickly find anything you've posted years or even months ago?

UMA utilizes a very standard discussion forum operating system that's been in use since the latter years of the 20th century. The features are very intuitive. Hit SEARCH, QUOTE or any icon such as B or I and what's going on and what you need to do is self-evident. I picked up on the most useful features within days or even hours of joining a discussion forum back in 2000. And no, I neither studied computer programming in university nor do I work in electronic data processing. Like I say, the logic on this board is self-evident.

All you need is to NOT close your mind to learning new tricks.

P.S. A helpful trick is highlighting text and copying said text within your mouse. My sales assistant had to teach me that trick back in 2000. Ask your son how to do it on your machine. You can still manage quite well posting without this trick, but like I say it's helpful.

Hey Hep.  Thanks so much for the eye-opening reply,  I really appreciate it.  So,  I guess there really is a problem with you with the way I reply to messages??  Sorry about that.  Thanks so much for belittling me here, and honestly, I'm not closed-minded either.
