His Eddie Haskell was such a sleazy little creep.  You had to laugh at how transparent he was.

At first, I thought he didn't understand that most people didn't fall for his phoniness.  Later, I decided he knew full well that most people didn't buy his dishonesty, he just didn't give a crap.  He knew enough people would take him at his word that he could usually get what he wanted.  And the majority that saw through him really couldn't complain - he was saying all the right things.
