Made it to 70 on the 17th. So when do you start feeling old? At least I'm still a Kidagain here.

Depends on your health.  Take care of it.

This lady doesn't like the fact that Halloween will be restricted this year:

It ain't just Halloween.  Here is another tradition shot all to hell:

If nothing else, this is one silver lining for this time of year!

I'm officially turning off the lights.Sorry Kids, sucks for you.
Though I will celebrate it by myself, I'll drink wine with the Pizza while watching a Hammer-Horror fest.

Safety has always been a part of Halloween, probably the utmost concern, this year will be no different. Kids must be kept safe period. If that means no Trick or Treating so be it.
We have bumped up our scary movie and Halloween themed TV considerably.

This year we are doing an All Hallows Eve party for my close family like they did in the days gone by:
Vintage décor from the 1920's to the 1980's (mine and my twin brother's Halloween collections)
Autumn feast
Donuts on a string (no hands allowed)
Monster Mash Dance
Bobbing for apples
balloon drop
pumpkin walk
telling ghost stories
spooky board games
pin the tail on the witch's cat
fishing the black lagoon
Bean bag cemetery grave toss
Trick or treating door to door down the Hallway (family member with candy behind each door)
Chilling records playing
bedtime for the little ones then scary movies for the rest.
Sadly, no candy for the neighborhood kids, we will have an apologetic sign on the door. No one wants to chance or eat lysolled strangers' candy.
Regrettably we are also phoning in our costumes a little bit too this year; no prosthetics, advanced makeup, or months of planning, just a simple theme outfit.

I'll be damned if I am going to give up making Halloween the most important night of my kids lives. I'm going all out, just all indoors this year. We are going to party all day and night like the Mask of the Red Death with the plague swirling outside and not answer any knocks.
