The statement by WHO is nothing short of fear mongering and it bothers me quite a bit. I’m not going to get into the specifics of antibodies and T cells and what not, but I am having a hard time finding any justification for that absurd statement by WHO. I can admit that maybe IF this virus is 100% different than all other remotely related viruses it could maybe, possibly but probably not be possible that there is no immunity.But rather than get long winded let me just point out one fact.

Many people (the vast majority) do recover after contracting COVID 19. In order to recover from ANY virus you have to have built up an immunity sufficient to kill off the virus. Otherwise you would continue to suffer the symptoms of the virus for the rest of your life until you died. So, if you obtain sufficient immunity to kill off the virus 1 time then in every known case of virus (at least I am familiar with) you retain significant immunity to the virus, at least for a period of time until the virus mutates (which makes it a different virus so you actually aren’t being reinfected with the same virus).

From everything I know about this particular coronavirus it is actually extremely slow at Replicating and mutating (WAY slower than the normal flu strains) so immunity is likely to be for much longer periods of time. It would also make a vaccine (when developed) much more likely to be effective.

WHO has been extremely irresponsible and frankly incompetent of late. Pro tip: whenever WHO uses the term “there’s no evidence” you can assume they have no clue what they’re talking about.  For example when they said in January that there is no evidence of transmission of coronavirus human to human (oops, it had only been transmitting that way in China for over two months at that point). Or the time they said there is no evidence a family pet can catch coronavirus (except they can and have). Or when they repeatedly stated that China was doing a bang-up job controlling the virus and we should all be thankful (except that China covered it up for over a month and then cut off travel from Hubei to the rest of China on January 23,  but not from Hubei to the rest of the world for another 2 months). WHO has crapped their pants on this over and over again.

Anyway, my unsolicited thoughts.

You ask. I have degrees in biology, microbiology, and chemistry as well as a law degree.  I was a post-doctoral research fellow at one of the most prestigious medical research universities in the United States. I went on to work in NIH vaccine research as well cancer treatment research. I now work with COVID 19 7 days a week and about 12 hours a day.   ... 

And ...   ...   ... What about the bleach?

Seriously man, do you want this locked up as well? People ponder in another thread why no one posts anymore, where is everyone? This is  A big reason why no one posts. This is why newer members of this forum say good riddance. It’s probably why many older ones grew weary of it.
