Must be the post-Halloween slump.  I couldn't keep up with all the posts the last few weeks of October.  Now that I have a bit more time, there aren't any posts at all!

Bernie Wrightson's Frankenstein coming up for sale in early December! Anyone with a few extra hundred thousand laying around might want to check that out- lol

Happy Veterans Day. I know it sounds cliche, but THANK YOU for your service. It's your sacrifice that makes our country great. Btw, it's  ALWAYS been great. Anyone who suggests it needed  to be made great "again", isn't very patriotic.

I'll echo that "it's a busy time of year" sentiment. On top of that I'm finally breaking ground on renovating the basement into a nice little hang out space.

I don't have much of an angle, I just find the Creature to be my favorite UM and often wonder why other folks feel the same way? Ever since I was a little kid ( back in the days of B&W photography) I found the sea intriguing. CFTBL sort of covers all my interests: Diving, diving gear, UW life, etc. So what's the draw for other Creature fanatics (aside from the white bathing suit - lol)?

I think it's the suit. Just the best designed monster suit, ever!    The movie, too, of course. I love '50s sci-fi and Universal Monsters, so the two together is movie heaven!

Just returned from a cruise that started on Nov.1. At that time there were at least 5 pages everyday of new posts.I guess things have been slow here during that time for whatever reason.Well i'll throw my two cents in wherever I can and hope more of the other members do also.We DON'T want to end up like the HMA (which I still miss).

I always feel bad because I want to contribute here more and visit more often. But with 2 jobs, training, starting a new business, working on 2 hobby writing projects and also trying to get 8 hrs. of sleep, it's always a challenge. It's like I go in phases. Always try to make it a point to visit for Halloween though. I still have to upload some photos of Bengston Farm (including the Creature From the Black Lagoon scene), and the Marvel monster ads from the comics. Just a lot of work to upload and post it all. I wish we had an 8th day in the week and an extra 8 hrs in each day!
