My Post reissue Metaluna Mutant:

ALWAYS MONSTERING...

Doh!

jupiter, I'm glad you're still making videos! That mask is pretty impressive -- especially how they got the hair in between the bandages.

I love the Metaluna Mutant! I just wish Aurora had issued a Metaluna Mutant model kit. I would have drooled to get my hands on one as a kid.

:)
Collecting! It's what I do!

Sir Masksalot

Mummy vs Mutant, there's a match I'd pay to see! The paint looks so fresh on that Mutant, lucky hhunter.
'Great research on "TombStoned", jupiter2. Discovering the history behind these characters is half the fun.

My Don Post Creature reissue lurking among more Creature stuff:

I bought 4 Don Post reissue masks from Dennis Druktenis back in the early 2000s. The Creature mask was the only one boxed and I paid $100 for it. Other prices paid were $50 each for Dracula and Metaluna Mutant, and $40 for Mole People, as I recall.

Thanks for that terror-ific tableau, horrorhunter. We share the same taste in several of those collectibles and
I must find a copy of that breacher on the right. 'Very splashy!

Do you mean "Creature"?  This one?

It's one of the Diamond Select busts. Not too difficult to find.

Even those have gotten a bit pricey. I checked evilBay and there's one for $60 plus SH, and the other 4 are over a hun?!  ???

Every time you turn around prices have shot up on something that used to be cheap just the other day, or at least it seems that way. Anymore when I see something I like I just grab it if it's cheap and I've got the dough. Of course, you can't buy everything and sometimes you wait too late- just part of collecting I guess.

Yikes! I haven't been following the price, since I don't need one.

So, I shouldn't have turned mine into a soap dispenser/toothbrush holder???  :D
