Very cool indeed. Love the Frankie!

I picked this little guy up yesterday at Wonderfest:

He's apparently a recast of a Trendmasters Rodan figure. These were released as part of a generic Knights Vs Dragons set a few years back. The little guy is close to a perfect size to hang out with the HG Toys Godzilla and Tricephalon figures:

George
Where apathy is master, all men are slaves.

Wicked Lester

Nice addition George. I always love the bright colored plastic monsters/dinosaurs/spacemen etc. Especially the larger ones.

Bogey

Those are AWESOME, George!  Nice snag!

shiverbones

I like it more than the trendmasters one, looks like a Palmer
Poe! You are Avenged!

Opera Ghost

I'm sure someone remembers the little skulls that came out of the gumball machines. When you opened the jaw, I think the eyes popped out, and an angluar tongue popped out....

Ray...have you any of those?

Anyone know where to find those, or what they're called?

OK, I checked all three of the toys in that picture.  The carded Kong does have Azrak-Hamway copyright info on the bottom of his foot.  The loose "Godzilla" and Creature do not.  All they say is "Hong Kong."  But they both have toes on their feet and they have the same red windup key as the carded Kong.  Matt's loose Kong has no toes and a different key.  I've seen other ones with metallic keys.

How did you know that the Creature would not have AHI info?  What was the giveaway?

Somewhere buried in a toy box, I believe I still have my windup AHI Creature from childhood.  It came off a card, so it is definitely AHI.  But I'm not sure where it is.  It would take a well-funded expedition to find it.

RAYMOND!   so of course i went to find my Godzilla and Creature Walkers in storage and they were both gone.
sometimes I clean up stuff and give it away or something to that nature.
anyways I got a pair off of ebay and the feet are flat, no toes.    Does this make them less desirable and could they still be AHI produced.
ps, my creature is RED instead of green....
will post pic when they show up, hopefully by end of week.

Only the AHI ones have toes. The ones without toes are a dime a dozen! Never seen a red one!

Here's the AHI.

Wow! Mike!  great link!!!!
is that YOUR site?    I saw a very cool boxed Dracula UK with amazing (to me at least) artwork on the back panel, too cool.
it says this item is available for trade.

I clicked the contact me and my computer hear at work won't open the link, says I don't have permission.

I wonder what the guy would trade that for.
thanks for the superb link.   Now I gotta find an AHI King!   and Godzilla and Creature.

No. Very popular with toy collectors, though. Lots of old catalog pages.

Never tried it. Don't know what the problem is.

I went to his wanted list.
its all AHI figure and Lincoln figure stuff.  so my contacting him would be a moot point.

anyways, interesting link for sure.
Do you have all the AHI sparkers?    and is AHI short for something?

I put a wanted ad out for the toes versions of all three...   couple on ebay, but redicoulously priced for loose and sometimes non-sparking item.

Does anybody know if the flint can be changed out easily on the vintage sparkers?

No, just the no toes ones. Azrak-Hamway International

All AHI stuff is expensive, so those prices may not be out of line.

Don't really see a way to change a flint, without cracking it open.
