Monsters For Sale

My Dog Skip, 2000 - Adult recollections of a boy's life in 1940's Mississippi.

Frankie Muniz, Kevin Bacon, Diane lane, Luke Wilson and Moose.

Bitter sweet, heart-tugging story of an only child during WWII.

Movie is very reminiscent of Scout's narrative in To Kill a Mockingbird.  Even the opening credits and music are similar.  Some good graveyard scenes lend a little danger to the tale.  Frankie Muniz and the dog were perfect for their parts.

I like this movie a lot.

Boy howdy! Somebody's a big fan of "Mockingbird"!  ;D

See it for free, here. Just tell 'em your birthday.

Did Bill write that before or after King Lear?

I've never seen "Porky's". Is it a rip-off of The Bard? (Like "West Side Story", etc.)

Unraveled: Long Island Serial Killer (2021)

Outstanding documentary. Fascinating case study involving massive police corruption, sex work, an affluent community with something to hide, and a serial killer on the loose.

When it comes to true crime, I'm not really a serial killer guy, but I'm interested in the iconic cold cases like Jack the Ripper, Zodiac, and now the LISK.

Guns of Navarone (1961)
The Eagle Has Landed (1976)

Great casts in these movies. The "Eagle" cast in particular, we see strong horror and sci-fi representation: Michael Caine, Donald Pleasence, Jenny Agutter, Judy Geeson, Treat Williams, Donald Sutherland, Larry Hagman, and Robert Duvall
