Peter Falk's performance is the highlight of the film!  :)

Frank Capra remakes his own movie, "Lady for a Day" (1933).

What other directors can you name who remade their own movies? (You can still pick Frank Capra.)

Really liked this film. Fascinating case study. Anyone familiar with this story? I was doing some internet sleuthing (for what that's worth), and I have a difficult time believing George Reeves killed himself. I suspect something sketchy went down that night.

I was 12 when George Reeves died - a little too old to still be an active fan, but still young enough to remember him being an important figure in my life.

Hollywoodland, really good film. Intriguing how Hollywood studios dictated their Actors' lives.

Good fun! I quite enjoyed it despite the implausibility of some of the plot features.
