St. Valentine's Day Massacre (1967)

Directed by the great Roger Corman. Blink and you'll miss cameos by Jack Nicholson and Dick Miller. This is one of the better pre-Godfather gangster films imo. Bonnie and Clyde the best, but this is fun movie. Then GF and GF II came along and changed everything---not just the gangster genre but cinema overall.

I absolutely dig that film

The Wrong Missy (2020)

I don't watch very many contemporary comedies, but once in awhile I'll try to be nice and let my wife pick the movie 
Anyhow, it's pretty funny. The lead female is especially hilarious.

Watch this movie a couple days ago. Another Adam Sandler production. But actually, good.

Trumbo, 2015 - More or less true story of Dalton Trumbo (Bryan Cranston) and the Hollywood blacklistings.
Front, The, 1976 - More comedic take on the blacklistings told by Woody Allen and many of the actual listers (with a moving turn by the wonderful Zero Mostel).

Both worthy films in their own rights.

Watched the Cannon Group  "Ninja Trilogy" last night

Enter the Ninja (1981)
Revenge of the Ninja (1983)
Ninja III: The Domination (1984)

I loved these films when I was a kid. They're awesomely bad. Ninja III is especially insane. Here's the plot: a telephone line repair woman, who moonlights as an aerobics instructor, ends up possessed by an evil ninja spirit. You can't make that kind of $h*# up   . The only person who can save her is a ninja/exorcist. In the meantime, she kills like a hundred cops. And when she's not killing cops, she's blasting her boombox and dancing solo in her studio apartment  . Movie is basically a mashup of revenge of the ninja, the exorcist, and flash dance. Lol!
