 Peter Tork died at age 71. Not much to add. The Monkees were the original boy band, but they did it so much better.

The article I read said he was 77.

This is the only time I remember Tork singing lead  on a Monkees song.

Geez,another person from my favorite bands of the 60s is gone.Got to see him with Mike and Micky at one of their concerts a few years back a little after Davy had died.At least I still have some of their albums,think I'll play one now in his memory.Rest in peace Peter.

Loved the series as a kid, and as an adult bought the boxed CD set. I like their music quite a bit.
