Sounds like a possibility...will keep my eye out for that one on eBay.

OK, now imagine going back in time and telling your kid self that although you could get a little silver record that plays an entire movie on your TV for 10 bucks or less, people are willing to spend $30 or more for one of these flipbooks.

There's a completed auction for a single (not even an attached pair) that sold for $45!

Thus is the power of nostalgia!

Topps had a factory in Mountaintop, PA, close to where I grew up. One of my friend's dad had some sort of connection to it (I don't think he worked there personally) and would give us trading cards, and occasionally sheets of uncut or misprinted baseball cards. They're all gone now, but I can hardly imagine what those sheets would be worth now... I never got any pop culture cards this way, but i do remember my friend getting Batman cards.

Topps' "Monster Flip Movies" from 1963. Sold in counter boxes like cards. two per pack. 36 different film clips (mostly Frank, Wolf, Mummy and Creature scenes). About 30 flip pages per.

I wish I had even the wrapper. There was a whole set of these being offered in NM condition in "The Wrapper" about four years ago but the fellow wanted an egregious multiple of guide so I passed up on it.

:(

Nostalgia is part of the equation alright, but the more important part in this case is supply. There is theoretically no upper limit on the quantity of these CDs that can be produced, but the number of flip books that have survived in NM condition is miniscule.

I'm not interesed in uncut sheets myself, but there are other collectors who go ape over them and are willing to pay big money.

Anywhere from $10 to $50 each, depending on condition and which one(s) are being offered, and how many people need a particular one, and how bad they want it.  If you just want some random flip books and not to collect all of them, figure $10 to $20 each as a starting point, but it may take some patience to get them at that price.

I'll keep my eyes peeled I doubt i could collect them all but a couple would be cool.
