I need to do some catching up with this mag.
Is there a good place in US that carries this title for sale?

Nobody in the US is carrying the mag, anymore. I think they may have just stopped selling to the US? They don't have subscriptions anymore, either.

My Movie Monsters still has about a dozen issues left (and a bunch of their Ultimate Guides) for about $30 ea.

Hemlock Books (UK) is a distributor. Shipping is very high to the US from HB and from the publisher.

So is it a reasonable price to get the new issue when released, and shipped to US?
They show US prices for new issues, and some back issues, say on the new issue #30 I believe, how much shipping to the states, and do they ship it in a sturdy mailer?

Want to know your current experiences with them, if you still purchase.

I subscribed when they 1st started, but I stopped after several issues.  When they started including the free poster postcards with sub renewals, these got embossed, or pressed imprinted outline markings on the enlosed issue.  Always on the cover too, asked if they could put inside mag and it just couldn’t be done.

As a collector, it really bothered me not to get as mint an issue as possible.

I had to stop taking the UK mags. It just really ate into the overall collections budget. I'm still buying some of the Ultimate Guides.

Been a while since I ordered a single mag from anybody. Seems like CM shipped in a thin cardboard envelope. Seems like it was at least $20 total for 1 issue.

Hemlock is better in the condition dept. Shipping is a little cheaper (per mag) on multi-issue orders. I'd usually wait till I had about 4 mags to order. The bigger the bundle, the better the condition. It's not like hand picking from the newsstand, though. You gets what you gets!

Really have enjoyed their publications but the shipping has gotten cost prohibitive for me and I'm really having to consider stopping altogether.
I've gotten every title released up until this point and would hate to not complete the various libraries (all the Universal films and Hammer films) but I dunno.

I'd wanted to get another four issue subscription to the main mag as well as three specials but once I'd added it all to the my cart I noticed that shipping accounted for 50% of my total. So roughly $100 in mags and $100 for shipping. Yikes.
