Thanks for the heads up, Glenn. I hope they fixed the issue with "Revenge of the Creature".  I might buy this, but I'm absolutely jaded with all these re-re-re-reissues.

Hey Mord, if you haven't bought any of the individual Blu-ray legacy sets yet this is a no brainer, over %50 off. I already have the Frankenstein, Wolfman, Dracula and Mummy Blu-ray legacy sets and the original Essential Collection Blu-rays so this doesn't make much sense for me.

You're absolutely right. I only have the Frankenstein one. Again, thank you.

Just saw this, and came on here to see if anyone had any info on the Creatures disc.  Fixed or not, I'm never going to beat $70, esp. since I held off on buying the individual discs -- this is a Christmas Miracle!

It says that it's not going to be in stock until early Nov-- with an 11/9 est. delivery date -- so, let's hope it's been corrected. However, even if not...$70!

They are fixing it and if you get one that has the problem Universal will replace it whether you buy the 30 film set or the Creature legacy set.

If you want them right away then it's a pretty good deal, but you may beat $70 later. In fact, I would bet that this BD set gets below $70 if you don't mind waiting.

I bought the 30 Film DVD Set for $50 and I believe this BD set comes down some. I'm waiting for a better price and to make sure the Creature disc is fixed. Uni has already milked the hell out of these films and they keep playing the same game- they take advantage of people buying them fast with higher prices and then eventually they blow them out for whatever they can.

What are the problems with the Creature sequels?

I believe it is just Revenge; the 3D doesn't work correctly.

I hear the picture is blurry. I'm not sure if it's only the 3D version or both.

It was on the 2D and 3D presentation of Revenge, some wrongly thought this was due to presenting both 2D/3D Revenge and Creature Walks on the same Bluray but it had nothing to due with that.  I still haven't jumped on this release but really want to pick it up...once O know for sure that the authoring issue is fixed.

I don't want to get stuck with a bum one, either.  :(

Sale has already ended. If I didn't already have most of these movies on Blu-ray I would have gone for it at that price even if Revenge of the Creature had the issue since Universal is replacing them by mail. I think it's going to be a long time before this set gets that cheap again.

Yeah -- I'm with you.  I was going to hold out for a better price than $100-150, knowing it was going to come down over time.  For me, $69.99 was definitely below my threshold.  I waited YEARS for the Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Blu-Ray collection to come down in price, and 4-5 years later, I FINALLY nabbed it at $69.94.   While worth the wait, personally, I've already waited over a year for even this set...and I could handle no more!  $70? Sold!

I understand. If I didn't already have the 30 Film DVD Set I would have jumped on this too. I guess I have UniMon movie purchase fatigue at this point. As much as I love these films I hate to keep buying the same product over and over and....

I'll make do with my DVDs till this baby hits a rock bottom price and they get the faulty disc fixed without having to jump through hoops by mail order replacement. After I do buy this BD set I'm done buying these same films and special features. I believe the BDs will be the last form of physical media anyway.
