Mego wave 2 Frankenstein is out!

I remember when these Monsters were released. The thought of another Frankenstein's monster, as a reproduction from MEGO is an insult. If EMCE and MEGO are partners. Why release another figure that pretty much resembles the 2014/15 version.

If MEGO would like to release something from the past. How about their Worlds Great Super Heroes line.  Now THAT would be super cool.

In only 1 out of 4 Target catalog illustrations?

I'm guessing what you order would not differ from what people have already bought off the shelf.  None of them reported electrodes.

The close-up shot with the electrodes looks like the EMCE Frank. The skin tone is different: EMCE looks like painted green, MEGO looks like green plastic.

Yeah, waiting for online.  The Drac is too tall for the EMCE Frank, so I'm gonna have to get it.

Are you presuming that the MEGO Frank will be scaled to fit with the MEGO Drac? I suspect that such might not be the case. If they're using the same head sculpt, that head is itself small in comparison to Drac's.



I don't know if a different body on the MEGO frank will make him much taller, but those GI Joe boots sure won't help!  I'd be interested in seeing a side-by-side comparison of the EMCE and MEGO Franks from anyone who has both.

If you're talking their Marvel licenses that would be great.  I'm guessing they don't have that license though.
FTC has already re-released virtual duplicates of the classic Mego DC Comic Characters and continues to do so.

I don't have Frankenstein in hand yet (ordered off the website) but it seems like a pale copy of the EMCE figure-- cheaper looking, but then again its half the price right?

I am.  It may not.  I hope the new Frank is the correct scale, though.

Thanks.  That is disappointing.  He is positioned slightly behind Dracula in that photo.  Still may get one, but am not gonna lose sleep over it if I don't... unlike the DD H3 set.
