So what kind of music or certain bands that no one would suspect?
Please keep it to 1-2 songs per post.
I am mostly into various forms of metal but grew up in the 60's cuz I have older brothers and sisters and had some of this stuff ingrained in my head forever.

IMO this is one of the most infectious pop songs I have ever heard,

Compare those two to this.
At least I'm NOT a music Nazi (for the most part)

I never saw a live performance sinc up to a studio track that perfectly!

I remember being a fan of their hits, like GG, Morningtown Ride, A World of Our Own and I'll Never Find Another You.

Speaking of infectious pop songs, Here's a GP of mine from this 1970s Dutch band.

I really don't like the expression, "guilty pleasure". I feel absolutely no guilt over receiving pleasure. That said, I really loved "The Letter" by The Boxtops. I really liked Alex Chilton's raspy voice.

Wolfman

Keep the Ball Rolling - Jay & The Techniques
Venus - the Shocking Blue

Hey Mord
So I am usually listening to some form of Metal or a Metal hybrid. I also have a diverse liking for genres WAAAAAY away from that.
Be prepared to be scared........ :o...it's 70's-80's DIsco. ! No longer available

Took me awhile get into this stuff. 1978,wearing the "Greg Brady" type shirts, big bell bottoms and my shorty boots to HS. Once home the Black Sabbath goes in my 8 track and new persona.

Whenever I listen to a few songs like this it's like I have to do "cleansing" and toss on Venom,Entombed, or 5 finger death punch.
Which is why it's a "guilty pleasure" Even my wife (RIP Kat) :'( would come into the living room and actually ask me if I was alright and WTF are you listening to.

Disco? Ok, I would feel guilt, too (just kidding). I have to admit that my musical taste is very narrow. I really don't like songs that are happy or danceable. I like dissonance with angry lyrics and a grating or distinctive voice.

Neither are "So Happy Together" or  "Love Will Keep Us Together ". (more like "Love Will Tear us Apart" by Joy Division or "(Love is Like) Anthrax" by Gang of 4)

Exactly. I am musically shameless and dont care what anyone thinks about what i like. I did get laughed at once when i bought The Partridge Family Shopping Bag on CD but i refuse to be a music snob.

Really enjoyed Gregory Girl and the other songs posted.

Wolfman

My Pledge of Love - Joe Jeffery Group
Those Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer - Nat King Cole
Bad Moon Rising - CCR
