Will Child's play Work as a Television Series?

Word on the street is that Don Mancini is developing a Child's Play/Chucky T.V. series.

The article is a couple month's old, but according to a recent interview with Brad Douriff, there is lot of interest in the project going forward.

What do you think? Can the Chucky Mythos be sustained over multiple episodes/seasons, or should they just stick to movies?
