To be fair, this wasnt the 1st super7 thread but just another example of the troll hole that this place is. Users starting new threads when 1 exists, necroposting, photo redistribution, clickbait, etc with no semblance of administration or moderation.

I came across a super soapeez post from zombiehorror from 2014. 9 FREAKING YEARS AGO. I knew they announced these way before some recent bodega appearance but that info is practically lost due to this "new" thread.

The title of this thread was retitled several years after it was made. It was originally specifically about what the original post is talking about. I'm not sure someone creating one of the more popular threads on this forum is any cause to be upset.

I flatly disagree. Be nice if posters including yourself added more content to this board, but it's a very decent board otherwise.

Also looking forward to the Soakies once mine arrive... but have we ever been told why no Dracula? Other than just a rights issue? It's such a bummer that he didn't get one in the sixties or now!

I THINK the Lugosi family has control over Bela as Dracula.  So I would think that might be kind of separate now - like the Metaluna Mutant is, for some reason, no longer a Universal Monster.

I would think these look generic enough to go ahead and make a Dracula Soapie.  It's not like these were great, life-like portraits of any of the actors.

Yeah, possibly, BUT today you just never know who is going to come out of the woodwork with their hand open and saying "Pay me" along with a cease and desist letter and a lawyer.  So they might be saying, "Why bother making a product that we have to get a separate license (if they are willing to give them one) for a normal looking guy in a tuxedo (maybe with fangs)."

A friend who has them already told me there's a Chaney Enterprises logo on the packaging of the Mummy and Wolf Man figures. I still really wish we had Drac.
