I do care about my fellow UMAers. I just don't care about you. Enjoy your overpriced gumball toys. These toy wars are brutal.

No you don't.  I called you out.  If you cared about anyone but yourself you wouldn't wish failure on a Universal Monster toy line that many people here love.

Try again.

Hey, I LIKE those overpriced gumball toys.

They are usually overpriced because they were Japanese Keishi Gomu not sold in the U.S.  But I supposed they are a much shorter run over here.

Anybody want to tread on my toes, go right ahead.  I do an embarrassing pirouette, anyway.  (See avatar.)

I like 'em too.  I guess we're both "simpletons"   ;D

Not everyone loves the exact same dollies or worries that others might think for themselves - and have (gasp) differing opinions.

Not everyone sees things the same:

Or has a sense of humor about themselves and toy-collecting adults arguing about who has the coolest playthings.

If they were any good, I would definitely buy them. Don't take this the wrong way, but you're such a humorless dullard. If you have to insult me, at least make me laugh. Btw, you must be too young to remember those (free) Burger King toys. Your turn. This is getting kinda fun.

I'd buy a few of the things I think they didn't screw up - if the manufacturer would actually make them available at halfway reasonable price.  Unfortunately they would rather practice "creative marketing."

I'm pretty sure I took it in the spirit it was meant.

aura of foreboding

You know, there are a lot of folks saying how hostile the UMA is.  But, frankly, the only time I see hostility is when people feel personally attacked by opinions on toys.  Then everyone gets bent out of shape.  I don't care if you like Super 7 or don't.  Your opinion of it doesn't change mine.  No one's opinion should change anyone else's.  I am fine with people saying they don't like something.  I am fine with people saying they like stuff.  Can we all just accept that the UMA is open to both positive and negative opinions?  Maybe we'd get along better...  No one gets attacked until people get attacked.  Opinions on toys aren't personal attacks.

It ain't personal - it's collecting.

Or maybe you're just not funny?

BTW, if I was too young to remember the Burger King toys I wouldn't remember the Kenner figures either. They came out the same year.  Is it your memory that's fading or are you just bad at math?
Maybe you're just too old. I bet that's it. Sitting around in a wet Depends is making you cranky.
You're right...this is kinda fun.

Ah!  The eternal struggle between Codgers and Whipper Snappers.
