Monster Glasses (not the kind you drink from):

Also, as Mike alluded to, the drinking glasses will for sure NOT be exclusives.

Goody for me !  Those were for sure for my list, cartoony designs and all, lol.

Those I can live without.

It will be a struggle, but I think I can scrape by without those.

Again, Dollar Tree items for little kids - but probably with a collectible price tag attached.

Pass. I have enough goofy, "stylized" monster dreck to fill a mausoleum. I would have bought all of the glasses with the earlier, more realistic images.

They arent going to win any art competitions, but I think you all miss the point. I collect the glassware, no matter how lacking, because of my mother. She loved collecting glasses.
She cannot do it anymore due to restrictions. They would all get dusty and broken. So i am carrying on the tradition. If I can sit through all the rejoicing over those silly Keshi monsters, you guys can humor me on these, lol.

Mord

I understand your motive. It's very sweet of you. If you need someone to laugh at those dreadful Keshi monsters with, I'm here for you. Those are even worserer.

I like Japanese Keshi that feature Universal Monsters.  Don't care for all the Japanese market (Gozilla) monsters.  They make me think of somewhat larger Gumball charms.

I LIKE the glasses.  If they were sturdy plastic, I would think they would be suitable for kids.  I just think the price point is  really high - again, except for someone like Mike, who collects only Creature items.  Much easier to bite the bullet on a single glass.  I have way too much Frankenstein product to chose from to want to get a less than outstanding glass for myself.

The artwork is fine.  I would be a lot more inclined to buy the puffy stickers with the same graphics.  If they are not too much, I'd get those and give them to a couple kids I know.

I can dislike Smurfs without disliking the people who collect them - or thinking they are any weirder than supposed grown-ups who collect toys that are never removed from their boxes.

aura of foreboding

I think this just goes to show there's now something for everyone offered by Super 7, and we can appreciate most of the stuff, if not for ourselves, for others.

I, personally, don't have any issues with any of the offerings, other than the fact that there is a Dracula drought, and I don't know why...  They have a freaking Lugosi license!  Sideshow would have killed to have that in the early years.

If you never remove the Keshi toys, you with have a complete set by buying 7 different boxes (theoretically you have 'em all...Schrodinger's cat theory). I'm glad I kept most of my items in their original boxes. Some of the box-art is often better than the actual toy. AND, now that im selling a bunch of my stuff, the prices are exponentially higher than dusty old chew toys.

I need that beach towel!!!

Aw-oh! New colors for the Keshi toys! Nice way to get one of each monster, if you're not interested in collecting all the different colors.

Didn't realize that was a tower - thought it was a poster.  Nice item.

Glad they added the more usual Keshi colors - Something else to buy pre-sorted on eBay.

I think the keshi 6 pack is just the one set of 6 figures and not 2 separate packs containg all 12. It would mean 2 different creatures in 1 pack and that seems unlikely.

I KNEW they wouldn't stop at just 4 colors. Steel molds cost money and only 4 colors of a minifigure isnt enough to cover the outlay.

It wouldnt surprise me to see something like a 12 pack of all sculpts in 1 color in a coffin shaped box as maybe a halloween item. (Slug zombies came 12 figures in a coffin box)

Unpainted minifigures used to be the main focus of my collection for years. Untill i sold off most of it and climbed out of that deep hole. Hoping these keshi dont send me back down it. The ones i got from Mike should be there when i get home today and i can already feel it pulling me towards the hole. LOL.
