The Cantankerous Collector

The Creature Super Cycle is available for preorder on Super7's website for $60.00. That's a lot cheaper than what people are paying for it on eBay.

There's a cool Aurora-styled Godzilla 3.75" figure based on the model kit too!

I 100% thought it was actually a model kit until I read your comment. I could not figure out why on earth it was only $25 though haha.

I have a feeling there will be variants.   The description says (light green red tryke).   Seems odd to make that distinction if that's the only version.

Just don't get trapped in the variant chase. I quit that garbage with '90s comics.

What always drags me back in against my good senses is a glow in the dark variant. Especially of the Creature.

I don't mind it so much, except when they do it with $125 and $185 toys. And 3 variants is plenty for anything!

If you enjoy collecting variants, it's all good. If you feel compelled to collect them to have them all then you become another lemming throwing away money as you run off that cliff. I'm unfamiliar with how toy variants hold their value, but it's common to see many comic book variants lose value pretty fast. I have an aversion to variants in general. I'd rather spend the money on something different that interests me more. Just my opinion.

Standard and glow is where I draw the line.    I'd bet money we get a glow Creech trike knowing Super 7.

Super 7 is being weird though lately. Recent example being the Super Soapies. They only released 4 glow then released the full batch in regular, black and white and bizarre orange.

With Munsters Reaction they release half the crew in regular and 1 figure in glow then decided to make the second half of the crew black and white only.

They're being really annoying lately. I guess they always have been though.

The fact that they didn't release ALL of the universal monsters in a normal looking glow (as opposed to random blue, pink, red glow on only a few of the figures) it really obnoxious.

I bought the first four Super Soapies in Glow, but I stopped there. If I didn't have the original '60s Soakies I probably wouldn't have bought those, but I figured at $20 each it would be worth it for the display contrast. I think the only other S7 items I have are the Creature Bucket and the first Creature and Frankenstein Masks. Frankly the S7 candy buckets look goofy next to the excellent TOTS buckets. I'm not a fan of variants and I don't collect the 3 3/4" figures so Super 7 just isn't my company.
