Ah- the '57 is the American release of Gigantis.  That is a deep cut.   Shame they didn't jump to the '62 but then this saves me money so it's all good!

I pre-ordered every Super7 5 Point Godzilla set that has been offered thus far.  Every one of them looks amazing with so much detail for a 5-6 inch figure.

So.. Anton. Some info on the Ultimates Godzilla's, pricing, what comes first etc. They will be more expensive than the other Ultimates. They'll start with the modern Godzilla's and move backards (opposite of what they are doing with Reaction). I strongly suggest you listen to it if you want his reasoning behind it. He starts talking about Ultimates at 19:18 in the video:

I think what you have been ordering are from Mezco. These from Super 7 are different. A bit smaller (3.75-4" scale) and there will ultimately be a ton more. I think they plan to make everything. Except Kong. They can't get the licensing. An original film Kong v. Godzilla would melt my brain. That movie introduced me to both monsters.

Fealiath...you are 100% correct. My mind gets hazy at times trying to keep track of all this stuff. I must be out of the loop, as I'm familiar with the Super7 Reaction Godzilla figures announced (3 3/4"), but what is the talk about Super7 Godzilla Ultimates?  Are they going to produce a 7" line of the monsters?  If so, I may have to cancel all of the Mezco 5-points pre-orders!

Yes, you should be seeing the first two announced in the next couple of weeks. $85 each. It will be Godzilla and another monster he fights. They will be releasing them 2 at a time. They will be chronological from the current versions and working backwards in time.

Im sure I'll pick up some of these. The Big Guy is my fav movie monster, so i already have a lot of Kaiju stuff. My point is: I pass on alotta Godzilla items, especially the high end pieces. But i like the affordable options. I collect a lot of the Banai vinyl figures. I know some collector snobs don't like those but you can find 'em at the grocery store and they're like $13. I can't resist at that price.

It sold out the first day.   Then was available again, then sold out.     I wonder if any of the retail stores have them in stock.  They'll ship to you.

I bought all 4 Soapies the first day they were announced. 

Sure hope other characters will be released in the future.
