I just wanted to thank Robert Taylor for his very fascinating article on David Manners.  So much wonderful information condensed!  It took just a few minutes but it was really quite an experience reading it.

Thanks, Rodd!  I wasn't sure at the time that I could make an article out of David's writing to me fairly regularly for 20 years and yet not saying much!  He was a bit eccentric (which may be why he and I got along---birds of a feather and all that!  lol).

Robert. That's a mighty fine looking avatar you have there. And I like the slogan beneath it too. This is new, right? Can't remember what you had before?

lol  My avatar was the Life magazine with Karloff--this is a closeup of that same Karloff photo, thanks to the endless filing cabinet of Mike Scott.  He also came up with a close-up of Cuz Sara's photo of 18 yr old Vincent Price, so her avatar is spiffed up, too.  "I get by with a little help from my friends...."

Ha!  Robert, I used that same Karloff shot in something I put together for Max when I was messing around with that JibJab site before the holidays.
