There weren't any other monster ones mentioned, unless you count "Weird-Ohs".

I don't know if this one was mentioned, but here's another SPP monster binder.

Here's a very good answer to Darkmonkeygod's question from another thread:

Quote from: RPM on January 13, 2013, 09:27:44 AMThe SPP binders that I have seen are all printed directly onto the vinyl and all are marked SPP. The monsters and Ben Casey are 2" wide and two SPP binders I have are 1.5" wide and slightly smaller. The SPP and monster binders also seem to be made of different types of vinyl. If SPP manufactured the binders, wouldn't they use the artwork from their 3D monster wall plaques or wallets?

Most of the pictures of the SPP Weird-Oh binders that were once posted on this site have now disappeared.

A picture we still have is of the one that Monolith has had since he was a kid in the sixties:

The fact that SPP didn't use the artwork from the Universal monster wallets it produced to make binders as well is the real mystery. After all, SPP was in the kids' binder business from at least 1963 when I believe SPP came out with the monster wallets. (The SPP Weird-Ohs binders have a 1964 date on them.) This is particularly puzzling since SPP reportedly used the Universal monster artwork to make vinyl school bags as well. So why not binders which together with wallets seemed to be SPP's bread-and-butter business lines?

You're about a half century late with that question.  ;D

While this is only speculation on my part, I have seen an SSP wholesale catalogue (it did NOT include monster binders). I've still never seen a Hasbro school supplies/binder catalogue, though I have seen their '63 and '64 toy catalogues (which include monster items) and I think it comes down to this simple thing: Hasbro had the license for binders, Mattel did not.

Here, let me do my part to keep this thread the single best information source about SPP binders on the web. Here are a couple of pages from SPP catalogues featuring various binders:

In addition to the Weird-Ohs binders, it can be seen from the catalogue pages that SPP produced Fireball XL5 and various Mad binders:

SPP also produced sundry other binders including various Beatles and Barbie ones:

After being acquired by Mattel in 1965 or 1966, SPP also produced at least one Batman binder:

The SPP female oriented products were nearly endless.

Here are a few more SPP MAD binders. These are all from my photo files and do not own any of them.
