Sorry to read this bit of sad news.  McGoohan has always been a favorite of mine....

This absolutely sucks. There's no other way for me to say it. He was such an artistic influence for me. I loved his work in both front and back of the camera as a director. He was really a massive talent who was incredibly unique and innovative. Quite a rarity.

Just this Monday, I was looking at the pop art painting that I did of McGoohan being followed by good old Rover and wondering where I was going to hang it because I wanted some Prisoner  stuff  on my one vacant wall.  

He just seemed immortal, didn't he? Wow. What an absolute bummer.

He was terrific going up against Columbo a couple times. I think Patrick and Peter Falk were really good friends.

  Being a huge spy fan, I loved watching The Prisoner.  I always liked how No.6 would try and escape the Village, only to have Rover bring him back.  Another huge loss to the world, and another shining star for Heaven.
