I'll eventually get around to getting all that stuff...I guess. The important one I may never own is Eerie #1 because of the ridiculous price. The only other expensive one I don't have is the Saha book, but I don't really care if I ever own that one. I wouldn't give over $20 for a copy so basically I'd have to find it offered by someone who doesn't know what a few lunatics are willing to pay for it.

My main Warren goal was to finish the Horror/Monster stuff, and that's done except for a couple of FM variants, that Eerie #1 ashcan, and a few issues of 1994. I also have the side stuff like Spirit, Rook, Warren Presents, etc. I'm pleased with what I have and I put the odd Warrens I don't have on the back burner.

I have the Flintstones comic. It's not hard to find or expensive. Here's a net pic.

Here's a funny by the great John Severin of Cracked and For Monsters Only fame.

Anyone familiar with Tiny Tim gets it.  :D

Didn't they use his voice to lure the grasshoppers in "Beginning of the End" - and to crack the face plates of the Venusian robots in "Target Earth"?

I thought it was rare. Don't know where I got that idea?

Here's a blow-up of one of the "You'll Die Laughing" cards from 1959:

I'd categorize the excellent comedy with which we're dealing in this thread with the finest of literature. That means this thread should be in the Horror Literature forum as opposed to Classic Monster Movies.

The problem is that it would be ignored over there because that section doesn't see much traffic. Most of the jokes posted here will be of the classic monster movie photo variety so it has a place here. Even the Jack Davis You'll Die Laughing cards and other occasional cartoons are inspired by classic monster movies. If the mods see a need to move it so be it. If left where it is at least it will get a few posts and maybe give someone a chuckle.  ;D
