They look so good. Doing some of my own, but I changed the James Cagney Hunchback to Lon Chaney version.

I also reworked The Phantom box art to my own liking.

Of course, we all would have liked it if Phoenix had used the Chaney Phantom photos, instead of the model kit, but they didn't. (Dern it!)

When I did the fantasy Hunchback, I tried to think of how Phoenix might have done it, mirroring the Phantom model kit on the back. I used the Cagney image on the front because Universal seemed to prefer images they had under copyright, at the time.

That's why Matt used the Universal "Mr. Hyde" over the 1932 version.

Of course, understood. But since I am doing some fantasy and repro boxes for the family/friends, figured I would make them a bit more pleasing.

I wonder why the Frankenstein was the only box done in Orange?

I kinda like the orange & black - more Halloween-y.

If I could just find someone that made reproductions of the Planet of the Apes Phoenix boxes that would be awesome.

If nobody here has the box layouts, you could always ask "creativepal" on etsy. He does amazing work and has some cool monster items as well.
