Watching tonight's Svengoolie, Dracula (1931).

It's weird, the number of times I've seen this the first where it has a soundtrack. I think Sven said the music comes from a French dub of the movie.

EDIT: Keeping my eyes peeled for cardboard.

Is this a vintage score, or something newer? I's not that Phillip Glass score, is it?

Sounds vintage. Never heard the Philip Glass score.

Currently, the movie's up to the vampirized Lucy subplot that doesn't get resolved.

Never heard the Philip Glass score.

I think it was around the time when the first UMs were released on DVD, that a new score was commissioned for "Dracula", by Philip Glass.

Just haven't been into it this year. This endless pandemic has been zapping all the joy of October from me!
This is just what I needed to get back into the swing of things!

Wednesday night:

The Mummy 1932
The Mummy's Hand 1940
The Mummy's Tomb 1942
The Mummy's Ghost 1944
The Mummy's Curse 1944

Back in the swing of things. Don't know if all of these can be considered classics, as far as timespan/years. They're all classic to me!

Thursday night:

The Mummy - 1999
The Mummy Returns - 2001 - Wow! Twenty years old already.
The Mummy: Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor - 2008

Just love all the great music too! Jerry Goldsmith, Alan Silvestri, and Randy Edelman.
