The Black Cat and The Raven tonight.

Lugosi as an almost hero was fun.  Though he was definitely going to that place to kill a man.  It goes so badly for him.

The Raven, I didn't like as much.

Very cool. Yeah, I agree The Black Cat is better, but i still have soft spot for The Raven. Bela is so bat-s*%# crazy in that role, I love it!

Anthony Caranci

Sunday night:

The Mummy Legacy Collection. Just upgraded that collection from the original (2012) two sided discs. Never had any problem with the Mummy batch, like I did with the 2012 Dracula & Frankenstein DVDs. Still, wanted to get the newer transfers (2017-2018), as they finally fixed the opening credits to The Mummy (1932). Thought about the Blu Ray set, but I'm not a fan of the 1:33 aspect ratio. In fact, I was very angry when I purchased the Frankenstein Blu Ray Legacy Set, to see that the films were "window-boxed." I know that others have done so, like Disney with Fantasia (1940), and the Blu Ray of Quo Vadis is also like that. Still have the 2012 Invisible Man Collection. Never had any problems with that set, but will upgrade to the newer collection soon.

The Mummy 1932
The Mummy's Hand 1940
The Mummy's Tomb 1942
The Mummy's Ghost 1944
The Mummy's Curse 1944
Abbott & Costello meet the Mummy 1955

The sets that had all the sequels on the 2 sided DVD18 discs came out in 2004. The one sided DVD sets came out in 2014 and the blu-ray sets in 2018.
