Tonight I watched:

Murders in the Rue Morgue 1932
The Mummy 1932

Since September 1st is right around the corner; I should stop now, on the "sound material," and begin viewing my Silent Horror Films. Time to get primed for October!

Mord

I followed "Man Made Monster" with "The Wolfman"...2 hrs. & 20 min. of Chaney Jr. fun (gotta love that big palooka).

Earth 2 Chris

Mord

House of Frankenstein (last night)
Revenge of the Creature (right now)
Listen to them. Children of the Night. What music they make!

Mord

The Creature from the Black Lagoon - You'll notice that I watch some of my favorite Uni films many times (even in one year). I use my fave films as background noise while I'm working around the house like others do with music. All these characters are always welcome in my home.

Completed the trilogy with "The Creature Walks Among Us". They really should have made one more.

Most Horrible

Actually, my post is about mention of a Classic Horror movie. Straight from the book "The Goldfinch" by Donna Tartt...One of the characters is named Boris...I kid you not.

Boris :"...You are like Night of the Zombie. What was that movie we liked? The black and white? Not Living Dead, but the poetry one-?"

Theo : "I Walked with a Zombie. Val Lewton."

Today:

The Invisible Man 1933.
Don't you just love the fact, that Kemp has a picture of Flora on his mantle? "You always were a dirty little coward Kemp! You're frightened out of your wits, aren't you?"
