Does The Creature Walks Among Us (1956) count?  It's a little past the "classic" Universal horror period ... but I think it should count.  It's a nice little flick!  And, yowza, I'd forgotten how much of a cutie Leigh Snowden was!   :P

The Black Cat ,  it will be on at 10pm tonight on Svengoolie.

Happy New Year's Eve All!,

I thought that I would bring in the New Year right (at least by my standards), and watch the Karloff Trilogy starting at 12:00 midnight West Coast time:
Frankenstein
Bride of Frankenstein
Son of Frankenstein

Wishing you all a safe and successful 2014

Happy 2014 all,

At 1:00pm (on the West Coast), I will view The Ghost of Frankenstein 1942, and Frankenstein meets the Wolf Man 1943.

Hello fellow Monster Kids,

Finished the Frankenstein saga today with
House of Frankenstein 1944
House of Dracula 1945
Bud Abbott and Lou Costello meet Frankenstein 1948 (the official title). However, if you look at the films in a realistic sense -- the Monster's saga really ends with The Ghost of Frankenstein 1942 as the Monster's brain is removed (so stupid), and Igor's brain is inserted (the beginning of the end).

As you can tell -- I am not a fan of Erle Kenton, or W. Scott Darling.

I just watched Invisible Agent for the first time on Wednesday and really enjoyed it.  That Ilona Massey was one good looking woman! ;)
