Last night I watched Abbot and Costello Meet the Mummy.
Just remember. There are such things.

Phantom Stranger

This morning:

"The Mummy's Hand" (1940)

Plot: IMDB
A couple of comical, out-of-work archaeologists (Dick Foran and Wallace Ford) in Egypt discover evidence of the burial place of the ancient Egyptian princess Ananka. After receiving funding from an eccentric magician (Cecil Kellaway) and his beautiful daughter (Peggy Moran), they set out into the desert only to be terrorized by a sinister high priest (George Zucco) and the living mummy Kharis (Tom Tyler) who are the guardians of Ananka^Òs tomb.

Phantom's Review: Fun, but weak sequel to the original classic . Nowhere near as good as Karloff's film, but I enjoyed it.

Not to nitpick, Phantom, but it isnt a sequel to THE MUMMY. Karloff was Im-Ho-Tep, Tyler was Kharis, there is no connection between the two.
DARK SHADOWS:

David Collins: "Dead people dont just get up and walk around.."

Sarah Collins: "Sometimes they do."

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Opera Ghost

Bride of Frankenstein at the Mann 6 in Hollywood. Introduced by Peter Bogdanovich, with a couple of great stories about Boris.

Apparently Boris has a particularly memorable soliloquy/ monologue near the films end. Left crew speechless, but then to erupt into a thunderous applause

The Film "Targets"

OG
"In each of us, two natures are at war--the good and the evil. All our lives the fight goes on between them, and one of them must conquer..."

My Video iPod 30 gig 5th Gen just crapped the bed. This is how I get through all my daughter's doctor visits, my long drives home at midnight from the 2nd job, my late-night movie viewing in bed without disturbing the wife and kids, my podcasting addictions, my exercise music........UGH!!!

And I can't afford to replace it right now. Just can't do it. (sigh).

We're all here because we're not all there.
