Listen to them...Children of the night...What music they make!

"The Strange Case of Doctor RX" - This morning. Lionel Atwill elevates any movie he's in.

Anthony Caranci

You're so right Mord. Lionel Atwill was such a talent! I can't really say that I ever saw a bad performance by him. H always gave it his all. Even if the film was off the mark.

House of Dracula 1945. I still can't reconcile the fact that Universal's ad campaign classified Nina (Jane Adams) as a Monster! The character of Nina is the most selfless, thoughtful, and caring person in the film.

Anthony Caranci

Sometimes the little things speak volumes.

Look at the way Nina is holding the arm of Dr. Edleman. That little gesture says so much about both characters.

Mord

"Man Made Monster" - Chaney Jr's first monster outing...short & fun.

This morning:

Son of Frankenstein 1939. The film is such a wonderful homage to the first two entries of the series.

Mord

Completely agree, Anthony. I just finished "House of Frankenstein". Although enjoyable enough, it's no where near the quality of the first 3 classics.

"They come from the bowels of hell; a transformed race of walking dead. Zombies, guided by a master plan for complete domination of the Earth."

Mord

Black Cat is tied with Bride of Frankenstein for my all time favorite Universal film. Great Choice.
