Don't know if this ranks up there as 'classic' along side Bride of Frank or The Wolf Man, but I watched Monolith Monsters on Svengooli saturday night 1-11-14.  Dig the hell outta that one.  So different.

M. Monsters my not be as classic as those, but it's a hell of a lot of fun.

The Black Cat (1934) - I never tire of this film. It might be my all-time favorite Universal horror film.

Son of Frankenstein 1939 - early this morning. Will finish up Friday with some other films from 1939, although they are non-Universal.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1939, The Return of Dr. X 1939, The Man they could not Hang 1939, The Human Monster  AKA Dead Eyes of London released in Britain 1939, and 1940 in the United States -- not to be confused with the 1961 German film "The Dead Eyes of London."

Happy Friday all!

Tried to watch "The Climax" (Karloff) again, but gave up after 40 minutes. Is it just me, or is this film really boring?

Good call!  I've seen many "What horror films do you watch in the winter?" and I don't ever recall seeing that one mentioned, nor had I thought of it myself!  It features a great wintery setting!
